My name is Michelle Theer.  I was a licensed Psychologist in North Carolina and I have been wrongfully convicted of my husbands murder.

In the following pages, you can learn more about me, the death of my husband, Marty, and the subsequent trial that focused on an ended affair rather than any evidence against me.  I was never allowed to speak a single word in my own defense by my State-appointed attorney, and yet I was convicted to spend the rest of my life in prison based solely on the actions of a jealous lover.
